Why I Do, What I Do.

I fell in love with working in sports my sophomore year of college, when I worked for The Dubuque Fighting Saints Hockey Team. I quickly realized my love for sports media. I loved capturing the emotions and stories behind the players, fans, and team, all through a picture. Before working in sports media, I often couldn't find the words to express my creative ideas, so instead I started saying, "let me show you". Throughout my career, I started showing people what I could do through my work with various sports teams, film documentaries, and creating fundraisers with my graphic design.

Two years later from the start of my career, I received media accreditation for The Ireland National Women's Rugby Team, including their World Cup Qualifying Match. This is one of my proudest accomplishments to this day. This is a proud accomplishment, not to say that I've photographed a national team, but because I got to capture women accomplishing their dreams, making history with them, and experience another culture through the lens of sports. From the start of my career in sports, I have proven to myself that you can achieve anything you set your mind to with hard work and passion.
